Custom Pipe Acquires ProFab

In February 2026, Custom Pipe & Fabrication completed the acquisition of ProFab Corporation, a Lubbock, Texas–based stainless steel and carbon steel fabricator specializing in pump applications.

For more than 40 years, ProFab has served pump manufacturers with fabricated components, machining, and pump fabrication products supporting municipal, commercial, and industrial markets. This acquisition marks a strategic step forward in Custom Pipe’s continued growth and commitment to precision fabrication.

By bringing ProFab into the Custom Pipe family, we expand our ability to deliver precision-fabricated pump components and assemblies. ProFab’s deep expertise in fabrication and machining enhances our capabilities across industrial-grade materials, including:

• Carbon steel
• Stainless steel (including 304 and 316)
• Duplex and super duplex alloys

This addition broadens our fabrication scope while increasing operational capacity, speed-to-quote, and speed-to-build for pump OEMs, distributors, and contractors nationwide.
