Custom Pipe & Fabrication Announces Operations Leadership Structure to Support Continued Growth
New operations structure aligns leadership around Pump, Water Works and Fabrication business units while strengthening purchasing, inventory and safety functions
Anaheim [September 21, 2026] — Custom Pipe & Fabrication, Inc. (Custom Pipe) today announced an updated organizational structure for its Operations team designed to support the company’s continued growth and expanding national footprint. The new structure transitions Operations from a regionally focused model to one centered on the company’s primary business units and operational functions. Dedicated leadership for Pump, Water Works and Fabrication will provide greater focus on process consistency, capacity planning, quality, service and long-term growth across Custom Pipe’s locations nationwide.
“Over the past several years, we have made significant progress operating as one company rather than as individual locations,” said Brian Goodpasture, COO of Custom Pipe & Fabrication. “This next step gives each of our major business units dedicated operational leadership while creating greater consistency across our facilities. It positions us to plan and execute at a higher level as we continue to grow.”
As part of the organizational structure:
Dan Wolford has been named Director of Fabrication Operations, overseeing fabrication operations in Lubbock, including Lubbock Pro, as well as welding procedures across Custom Pipe’s U.S. operations. Fabrication represents an important area of growth for the company as Custom Pipe continues to expand its specialty fabrication capabilities.
Dan Aring has been named Director of Pump Operations, responsible for the production and distribution of Custom Pipe’s vertical turbine pump products, including column pipe, tube and shaft. Aring will also support continued operational expansion surrounding growing product lines such as HSLA column pipe and J55 products serving geothermal and other demanding applications.
Chris Muntz has been named Director of Water Works Operations, overseeing the production of ductile iron products, including fabricated spools and fittings. The Water Works business has experienced significant growth in recent years, and Muntz will focus on expanding capacity while maintaining the quality, responsiveness and service customers expect from Custom Pipe.
Indra Ayi has been named Director of Inventory and Purchasing, supporting all three business units. Ayi will lead purchasing, inventory optimization and cycle-counting processes while working closely with product planners and operations leadership to align inventory levels with production requirements and customer demand.
Alisha Casaus has been named Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, responsible for companywide policies and compliance related to employee safety, environmental requirements and site security. As Custom Pipe continues to expand its workforce, production output and physical footprint, the company is investing in the systems and leadership necessary to maintain a strong safety culture across its operations.
Custom Pipe also welcomed Shane Miller as Plant Manager for its Lubbock facility. Miller brings extensive fabrication leadership experience to the company, most recently with True North, and will support the continued development and expansion of Custom Pipe’s Lubbock operations.
The organizational changes are effective immediately and are part of a broader multi-year operational strategy focused on facility planning, equipment investments, workforce development, production capacity and operational excellence.
“Growth requires more than adding capacity; it requires the right leadership structure, processes and people,” Goodpasture added. “We have built a strong foundation, and this team gives us the expertise and focus necessary to continue improving how we serve our customers while preparing Custom Pipe for its next stage of growth.”
