Custom Pipe & Fabrication (CP&F) recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, commemorating five decades of building the connections that move water.
Founded in 1975, the company marked the milestone with employee appreciation events at all 12 locations nationwide, complete with food, games, prizes, and camaraderie to honor the people whose skill and dedication carried CP&F to this moment and the customers whose partnership made it possible.
From the shop floor to the jobsite, CP&F teams have fabricated vertical turbine pump column pipe, waterworks spools, and companion components that keep critical systems running. What began as a small fabrication shop grew into a coast-to-coast network recognized for craftsmanship, safety, and on-time delivery—guided by a hands-on, problem-solving culture and a commitment to service.
Across the country, crews shared stories from landmark projects, recognized long-tenured teammates, and reflected on the company’s customer-first ethos. The anniversary celebrations also spotlighted CP&F’s safety record and training programs that sustain quality across complex, made-to-order builds.
“Fifty years is just the start,” says CEO Greg Wood. “We’re honored with how far we came—and we are investing in our people, technology, and partnerships to deliver even more value to customers in the decades ahead.”
As CP&F entered its next half-century, the company reaffirmed its focus on investing in people, process, and technology, expanding capabilities, and strengthening partnerships to serve groundwater and waterworks communities with the reliability that defined its first 50 years.
